about socialization?”

“Can they play sports?”

“What happens when they get to high school?”

I always smile because I’ve been answering these questions for most of my life.

You see, I didn’t just choose to homeschool my children.

I grew up homeschooled myself.

My parents began homeschooling in the early 1980s, when homeschooling was still a new and unfamiliar idea. In fact, my dad was involved in lobbying for legal homeschooling in the state of Washington because, at the time, it wasn’t even widely recognized as a legitimate educational option.

Forty years later...

I’m hearing many of the exact same questions.

Before I answer them, let me say something that’s important to me.

I believe in school choice.

Some families thrive in public school.

Some flourish in private school.

Others, like ours, find that homeschooling is the best fit.

This isn’t an article about convincing everyone to homeschool.

It’s simply my attempt to answer some of the concerns that keep sincere parents from even considering it.

“But won’t they miss out on socialization?”

This has probably been the most common question homeschool families have heard for decades.

Ironically, I don’t remember feeling isolated as a child.

Quite the opposite.

We played with neighborhood children almost every day, most of whom weren’t homeschooled.

My parents pastored a large church, so we were constantly surrounded by families.

We had sleepovers.

Birthday parties.

Church events.

Youth activities.

Looking back, I don’t feel like I missed out socially.

I simply learned that friendships aren’t limited to a classroom.

School doesn’t have to be a child’s only place for building relationships.

Families, churches, neighborhoods, sports, music lessons, volunteer opportunities, and homeschool co-ops all become places where children naturally grow socially.

“What about sports and extracurricular activities?”

This concern made more sense thirty years ago than it does today.

Homeschooling has changed dramatically.

Most communities now have homeschool co-ops offering sports, drama, choir, robotics, music, debate clubs, and dozens of other activities.

Sometimes families even create opportunities that fit their children’s interests.

My brother loved running.

Instead of joining a school team, he and my dad began entering local 10Ks together.

He often won his age division.

It looked different.

But different didn’t mean less.

“I could never teach my children.”

I hear this one often.

The truth is, when your children are young, you’re already teaching them every day.

You’re teaching them to cook.

To count.

To read recipes.

To tie their shoes.

To solve conflicts.

To ask questions.

Formal homeschooling simply builds on what parents are already doing naturally.

And once children reach subjects beyond your comfort level, you don’t suddenly have to become an expert in chemistry or calculus.

Today’s homeschool families have access to online teachers, co-ops, correspondence schools, tutors, video courses, and curriculum that simply didn’t exist when I was growing up.

In many ways, homeschooling has never been easier than it is today.

“But what happens in high school?”

I smile every time someone asks this.

I graduated from homeschool.

Back then, resources were far more limited than they are now.

Today, parents have an incredible number of options.

Online academies.

Christian correspondence schools.

Dual enrollment.

Community college classes.

Co-ops.

Private tutors.

Parents no longer have to carry every subject alone.

“Isn’t homeschooling expensive?”

Years ago, it certainly could be.

My parents made tremendous sacrifices to homeschool us.

Today is a different story.

Entire curricula are available online.

Libraries are full of resources.

Pinterest is overflowing with ideas.

Families trade curriculum through Facebook groups and local curriculum fairs.

Many excellent resources are completely free.

Homeschooling doesn’t have to be expensive anymore.

“What if I’m a single parent... or I work full-time?”

I’ve met wonderful homeschool families in both situations.

Is it harder?

Sometimes.

Impossible?

Not at all.

Many families homeschool in the evenings.

Others work remotely.

Some school year-round.

Some lean heavily on grandparents, churches, co-ops, or close friends.

Every homeschool family looks a little different.

That’s one of the things I love most about it.

The Question That Deserves an Honest Answer

There’s one concern that’s a little different from all the others.

“I just don’t feel called to homeschool.”

Sometimes that’s true.

I genuinely believe God leads families differently.

But I also think it’s worth asking ourselves one honest question.

Am I saying I’m not called...

or am I simply afraid?

I ask that because I once spent years insisting I wasn’t called to be a missionary.

Looking back, I wasn’t resisting God’s calling.

I was resisting my fear.

I didn’t want to move overseas.

I didn’t want God asking me to do something uncomfortable.

Eventually, He did.

And now I can’t imagine my life any other way.

Sometimes fear sounds surprisingly spiritual.

Only the Lord—and our own hearts—can tell the difference.

Every Family Has to Make This Decision

One thing homeschooling has taught me is that there is no single educational path that’s right for every child.

Some children thrive in public school.

Others flourish in private school.

Still others blossom at home.

The goal isn’t to defend one method over another.

The goal is to prayerfully choose the environment where your child can best grow academically, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.

If you’ve been curious about homeschooling but have felt held back by questions or assumptions, I hope this article has eased some of those concerns.

Don’t let fear make the decision for you.

Ask questions.

Talk with homeschooling families.

Pray.

Research.

Then move forward with confidence, knowing that God will faithfully guide you as you seek what’s best for your children.

<div class="subscription-widget-wrap-editor" for you to truly rest?

Many women live under a constant weight of pressure:

pressure to perform,

pressure to keep up,

pressure to hold everything together.

Over time, that constant stress begins affecting not only our emotions but also our energy, sleep, mental clarity, and physical health.

I didn’t realize how deeply stress was affecting me until my body finally forced me to slow down.

Why So Many Women Live Under Constant Stress

When we stop comparing our abilities with those around us, we are able to see clearly what we are capable of doing.

Reject the tendency to say, “But my friend over there has 7 children and still manages to do it all.”

God didn’t give you the grace He gave your friend. He gave you the grace He gave you to do the tasks He intended for you to do.

Stop comparing your capacity to someone else’s calling.

God did not ask you to carry another woman’s load.

Do not place on your shoulders expectations you cannot reasonably fulfill.

The Pressure I Put On Myself

All the signs were present that I was experiencing burnout, but as I am often tempted to do, I chose to only see what I wanted to see, not what was so obvious to everyone else.

Several friends asked me, “Are you under stress?” My answer was the same: “Not any more than other moms of two young children.”

The truth was, I didn’t want to admit I couldn’t do it all.

Despite the fact that the quality I value most in people is authenticity, I didn’t feel I could be authentic with those around me and admit that I was drowning in exhaustion.

I hid myself behind a mask of happy perfectionism, but the person behind the mask was crumbling.

I was self-destructing under a heavy burden of stress, personal expectations, and perceived expectations that I thought others had of me.

I could leave no room for failure.

I worked late into the night and woke up early to finish what was left undone at night.

I worked feverishly throughout the day, and it placed an enormous strain on my family.

This strain only led to further stress because I felt torn between a family who needed me and my expectations that screamed failure if I didn’t give them the attention they demanded.

The quest for a perfect image and my family, who only wanted a mom and wife who was present with them, left me flailing wildly out of control between the two extremes. I desperately wanted to be both: perfect and present.

But you can’t. It’s impossible.

Perfect is hiding.

Present is authentic.

You can’t have both.

The Day I Realized Something Had to Change

One day, in January, my husband came home from work, and like a hurricane, I blew out the door and left the kids with him.

I was having a meltdown.

Truth be told, it was only one in a long series of meltdowns I was having on a weekly basis.

My kids just didn’t understand how much work I had to do! Didn’t they get it?? Naptime was essential.

Non-optional.

Without them taking naps, work didn’t get done. When work didn’t get done, it meant even longer nights and even earlier mornings!

Why were my kids working against me??

I climbed into the car, slammed the door, jammed the car into gear, and spun out of the driveway.

Face red

Heart racing

Teeth clenched

I backed out of the driveway and sped down the road.

And prayed.

Halfway to the store, I had an epiphany - I was doing too much.

Now, most people wouldn’t call that an epiphany. They’d call it common sense. But that’s the problem with common sense, it isn’t often very common.

No - to me, this was an epiphany.

I had been telling myself over and over that I just needed to be better organized. But God spoke to my heart and said, “There isn’t a way to better organize all your responsibilities.

There simply are not enough hours in the day to do all you have to do. Something has to go.”

From that moment, I began to let responsibilities go.

You see, I learned a very important lesson that day.

You can do 100 things poorly, or a few things well.

But stress eventually causes us to do nothing well.

Not all stress is bad

There are times when stress is needed to help you accomplish a short-term task in an extraordinary way.

When your child is in mortal danger, you feel stress, run out into the road, and rescue him from oncoming traffic.

You perform an extraordinary feat that you would not otherwise do, in a way you would otherwise be incapable of doing.

It gives you the strength to add daily hospital visits to your otherwise packed schedule to sit by the side of your spouse who is enduring a health battle: cancer, a heart attack, stroke, and somehow you carry on.

Why?

Adrenaline. Cortisol. The stress hormones. They are there for a reason.

But they are not there to support our insecurities and pride that pile on unreasonable expectations that lead to constant pressure and undue strain on our families.

Our families deserve more than a wife and mom who is constantly at the end of her rope.

Living under constant stress can leave our bodies feeling exhausted, overstimulated, and unable to recover properly.

Many of us are living under levels of pressure our bodies were never designed to sustain long-term.

God never intended for us to live this way.

The Habits That Helped Me Recover

1. Admit your imperfections and limitations

You will never fully recover until you are willing to lay down your pride and recognize your limitations. Every person has their own load limit. Some can do more; some should do less.

Just because your load limit is smaller than someone else’s doesn’t make you less capable as a person.

It doesn’t make you less valuable.

You will find that your ability to handle life and its pressures will increase when you recognize your load limit and live within its boundaries.

2. Learn to recognize your stressors

What makes you feel panic, pressure, that sinking feeling, or dread? Take one month and pay attention to those feelings.

Write down the triggers, and then ask yourself if those triggers are an essential part of your life or something you need to let go of.

3. Relieve yourself of all unnecessary commitments

Take time to assess your commitments and deadlines. Ask yourself:

Is this necessary?

Is this healthy for my family?

Is this costing me peace?

Is this something God actually asked me to carry?

The Best Yes by Lysa TeKeurst was crucial in helping me let go of the many commitments I made that should have gone to someone else.

If you’re a chronic “yes-sayer”, you need to learn the power and the joy of saying “no”.

Your “no” gives someone else the opportunity to say “yes”, and that becomes a blessing for everyone involved.

Repeat steps 1-3 until you have finally come to a place in your life where you live daily without pressure.

If you’re having trouble, ask your close friends and family to help you with this process. What helps is to list your responsibilities and write down every detail and deadline into a calendar.

If you sense that you are not able to adequately and without stress and pressure, perform every task, something needs to change.

Recovery Requires Rest

For years, I treated sleep like a luxury instead of a necessity.

But recovery from exhaustion and burnout requires real rest.

Sleep is not laziness.

It is one of the ways we allow our bodies and minds to recover from constant stress. (Recommended reading: “Adrenaline and Stress“, Dr. Archibald Hart)

For decades, we’ve been led to believe that the most productive and efficient people are the ones who sleep less.

New research is showing that the opposite is true.

The more rested we are, the more productive and efficient we are as people.

Most women struggling with exhaustion and burnout will likely benefit from significantly more rest than they are currently getting.

Steps for Better Quality Sleep

1. Turn off all screens and devices 1 hour before bedtime. Yes, even your T.V. Or you can use these blue blocker glasses - they also help:

2. Remove your T.V. from your bedroom and make your bedroom a sleeping room only

3. Choose a relaxing routine before bedtime: shower, hot chamomile, lavender, or lemon balm tea, a relaxing book (not a mystery or intellectual read)

4. Make your room as dark as possible to eliminate all possible distractions while sleeping. I used to sleep with an eye mask:

5. Wear earplugs if necessary

Healing Often Begins With Letting Go

Recovery from exhaustion and burnout did not begin for me when I became more productive.

It began when I finally admitted that I could not keep living under constant pressure.

I had to let go of perfectionism.

I had to stop trying to prove my worth through performance.

Your worth is not measured by your productivity.

I had to accept that I was human.

Healing began when I started choosing peace over pressure and presence over perfection.

And little by little, my body and mind began to recover.

If you are overwhelmed right now, exhausted from trying to hold everything together, give yourself permission to slow down.

You do not have to carry everything.

And you do not have to heal overnight.

What is one responsibility or expectation you may need to let go of in this season?

Peaceful Christian Living is a reader-supported publication. overnight.

They’re built one small, faithful step at a time.

Sometimes that step is creating a simple morning routine.

Sometimes it’s planning meals for the week.

Sometimes it’s finding the right homeschool resource for your child.

Sometimes it’s simply knowing you aren’t walking this journey alone.

That’s why I’m so excited to officially open the Peaceful Living Library to paid subscribers.

What You’ll Find Inside

When you become a paid member, you’ll receive immediate access to a growing library of more than 40 printable resources designed to help you build a more peaceful, intentional life.

📚 Homeschool Resources

Whether you’re just beginning your homeschool journey or have been homeschooling for years, you’ll find resources to encourage both you and your children.

Inside you’ll find:

• Notebooking pages

• Brick Master building cards

• Printable unit studies

• Educational worksheets

• Homeschool planning resources

🏡 Home & Organization

Creating a peaceful home doesn’t require perfection.

Sometimes it simply requires a plan.

You’ll find practical printables such as:

• Organization worksheets

• Planning pages

• Home management resources

• Routine builders

• Checklists designed to simplify everyday life.

…and many more being added regularly.

🥗 Healthy Living

One of the ways God taught me to care for myself during burnout was by learning to nourish my body well.

Inside you’ll also find resources like:

• Low-carb and keto guides

• Healthy living printables

• Habit trackers

• Wellness worksheets

And This Is Just the Beginning

The library will continue to grow.

As a paid subscriber, you’ll receive new resources as I create them, along with exclusive articles, practical guides, and deeper teaching that won’t be available publicly.

My desire isn’t simply to give you more printables.

It’s to give you tools that help you build a home and life filled with more peace, more purpose, and more margin for what matters most.

🌿 Founding Member Invitation

To celebrate the opening of the Peaceful Living Library, I’m offering 50% off a paid subscription forever for founding members.

That means you’ll lock in today’s price while helping me continue creating new resources, articles, and encouragement for this community.

If you’ve been blessed by my writing over the years and would like to support what I’m building here, I’d love to welcome you into our growing community.

There’s always room for one more chair around the table.

Join the Peaceful Living Library today, and let’s build a more peaceful life together. 🤍

exhausted.

I spent my days wrapped in brain fog.

By evening, I had nothing left to give my husband, my children, or myself.

Like so many women, I kept telling myself that if I could just push a little harder, I’d eventually catch up.

I never did.

Instead, I became more tired.

More overwhelmed.

More discouraged.

Looking back, I realize I wasn’t just tired.

I had built a life that left no room for recovery.

For years, I believed that rest was something you earned after everything else was finished.

The problem was that nothing was ever finished.

✔️ There was always another email.

✔️ Another load of laundry.

✔️ Another meal to cook.

✔️ Another responsibility waiting for me.

Eventually my body forced me to slow down.

I wouldn’t have chosen that path.

But I’m grateful for what it taught me.

Recovery didn’t happen because I discovered one miracle solution.

It happened because I slowly changed the way I cared for my body, my mind, and my spirit.

These are some of the habits that made the biggest difference for me.
<div class="subscription-widget-wrap-editor" worksheets.

I’d buy books.

I’d carefully schedule “summer learning” because I was afraid my boys would forget everything they’d worked so hard to learn during the school year.

✔️ I worried about the infamous “summer slide.”

✔️ I worried about too much screen time.

✔️ I worried that boredom would somehow undo months of homeschooling.

So every year, I started the summer with the best intentions.

And every year, those plans quietly fell apart.

Friends would invite my boys outside to play.

Family visits would interrupt our carefully planned schedule.

Life happened.

By August, I’d look at my untouched stack of worksheets and feel like I’d failed.

Surely we’d lost ground.

Surely we’d be starting over in September.

But something unexpected happened.

Every single year.

What Happened During the Break Surprised Me

When we started school again, I expected to spend weeks reviewing old material.

Instead, I found something completely different.

My boys had forgotten surprisingly little.

Even more surprising, they had often grasped concepts we’d struggled with before the break.

I remember one year worrying constantly because my younger son simply couldn’t understand nouns.

We practiced.

Reviewed.

Worked through lesson after lesson.

Nothing seemed to click.

Then Easter break came.

We took time off.

We visited Grandma.

There was more playing than studying.

More screens than I’d planned.

Honestly, I felt just become more organized...

More productive...

More disciplined...

Then surely I would stop feeling overwhelmed.

But eventually I realized something surprising.

My mornings were quietly setting the tone for everything that followed.

Before I even got out of bed, I had already filled my mind with notifications, social media, work, and pressure.

By 8:00 a.m., I already felt behind.

No wonder I spent the rest of the day trying to catch up.

I didn’t need a better planner.

I needed better mornings.

It wasn’t until I intentionally changed the first hour of my day that everything else slowly began to change, too.

Not overnight.

But little by little, my mornings became calmer.

My thoughts became quieter.

My relationship with God became deeper.

And instead of waking up already exhausted, I began looking forward to the day again.

The Conversation That Changed My Mornings

Every afternoon, my husband would come into my office and ask,

“Come have tea with me.”

Part of me loved it.

The other part felt guilty.

I had too much to do.

Or at least that’s what I kept telling myself.

However, I knew that those times were important for our marriage, and I needed someone to tell me to stop, take a break, and slow down the pace of my life.

I was reminded of a book my brother recommended: The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry.

As I read, I realized something uncomfortable.

My mornings weren’t peaceful because I had built them around hurry.

Every day, I was unintentionally training my mind to live under pressure before breakfast.

I would scroll on my phone before I even got out of bed

I would hurry through my devotions, because I had so much work to do

I refused to take breaks during the day because I wanted to get work done.

I try to compensate for my overwhelm with greater and greater levels of dopamine, with constant listening to podcasts and YouTube videos

Breaking those habits wasn't easy.

✔️ I always felt like I was behind.

✔️ My mind was racing before breakfast.

✔️ My body never seemed to settle.

Looking back, it’s no wonder I was exhausted.

I needed to make a radical change.

Maybe you need a radical change too?

The good news is that it doesn’t have to begin with changing your whole life.

Sometimes it begins with changing your first hour.

<div class="subscription-widget-wrap-editor" You may not need two hours.

Perhaps for you, 30 minutes is enough.

If you try to do your quiet time after everyone else is already awake, you will likely be interrupted multiple times, and your time with Jesus will not have the same impact as it would if you could just sit with Him alone in silence.

I stopped reaching for my phone.

I also stopped using my phone for my quiet time.

I know many people love Bible apps, but I found myself getting distracted too easily.

Now I use a physical Bible, a journal, and a pen.

For me, that simple change made my time with God much more intentional.

I begin with prayer walking. I walk around my kitchen and pray, because that gets me moving first thing in the morning while I am waking up.

Prayer walking has been a game-changer in helping me get my body moving and my metabolism going right from the start.

I discovered that if I sat down immediately, I often stayed tired.

So now I quietly walk around my kitchen while I pray.

It wakes up my body while it quiets my heart.

That simple habit has become one of my favorite parts of the morning.

After that, I read and study the Bible. Then, at the end of my quiet time, I sit quietly in God’s presence, listening for His voice.

The keyword here is “quietly”. This means I have no other sounds on, not even worship music. Total silence.

This starts my day peacefully and sets a very calm, peaceful tone for the whole day.

I've found that when I skip this rhythm, the rest of my day feels noticeably different.

During this time, I do not use any of my devices.

I don’t scroll on social media

I don’t check my messages

I don’t read my Bible on my phone

Do you find that sometimes when you read God’s Word, you forget what you’ve read?

Maybe God showed you something profound as you read, or spoke something to your heart, and later in the day, you had trouble recalling what it was.

My dad shares a powerful tool to help remind you to meditate on God’s Word throughout the day so that we don’t forget the wonderful things He’s speaking to us in our quiet times.

It’s so simple and easy to do - and only takes mere seconds.

Take a small piece of paper or an index card and write down what you learned from Scripture, fold it up, and put it in your pocket.

This way, as you go about your day, every time you put your hand in your pocket, you’ll feel that piece of paper, and it will remind you to think about what God is speaking to you.

Once my quiet time is finished, I turn on worship music and let it fill the house while everyone begins waking up.

I personally love to put on one of these Dino Peace Series playlists:

Majestic Peace

Peace in the Midst of the Storm

All Creation Sings

I have found that playing worship sets a beautiful atmosphere in my home, and I will often find myself with tears in my eyes as I sing along -- sometimes even raising my hands in a moment of authentic worship.

I Greeted Each Family Member With a Hug.

Now that you’ve had your quiet time with Jesus and worship music is filling your home and heart, your family is up and getting about their day.

They’re coming into the kitchen and asking, “What’s for breakfast?”

Before I answer questions about breakfast or the day’s schedule, I try to give each member of my family a hug.

I want the first thing they receive from me each morning to be my attention—not my distraction.

It is very easy to get caught up in my tasks and just offhandedly give them a distracted, “Good morning”, but I believe it is important to start our day with friendly smiles and warm hugs.

I Wrote Out a Schedule

One thing I’ve discovered about myself is that I need anchor points in my day that are more or less locked in.

These anchor points give me structure.

If I do not have a schedule or a routine, the chance that my day will end up off the rails is very likely.

You know the saying, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.”

I've learned that peace thrives on rhythm.

Get up at the same time every day. This helps your body learn a rhythm, and you will wake up better

Have your quiet time at the same time every day. This will keep you from falling into the temptation of putting it off for later.

Eat dinner as a family at a specific time. This helps your family to plan around mealtime because it is a priority

Go to bed at the same time every day. This is for the same reason as #1. You will sleep better and wake up more rested.

I Made Meal Plans Ahead of Time

Do you know what you’re having for dinner today and tomorrow, or do you wing it as you go?

I have found that if I have a meal plan in place, it keeps me from spending my whole morning trying to figure out what to feed everyone.

I realized that every decision I could make ahead of time was one less decision waiting for me in the morning.

Each Friday, I sit down and plan out our meals for the following week, and then I write them in my planner.

This way, I know exactly what to take out of the freezer to make for dinner later on.

Having a meal plan in place at the beginning of each week has resolved so much stress in my day, because I’m not trying to figure out what to make.

I already know what to make, and I know I have everything on hand to make that meal.

These morning rhythms have made a significant difference in my mornings.

Perhaps not every one of these will fit your family’s needs, but play with them and structure them in a way that your day starts relaxed and joyful, too!

Looking back, I realize I wasn’t really looking for a better morning routine.

I was looking for a life that felt less rushed.

These habits didn’t make my life perfect.

They didn’t remove every stressful day or eliminate every interruption.

But they changed the atmosphere of my mornings.

Instead of beginning each day already feeling behind, I began starting each day rooted in God’s presence.

And that changed everything.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed right now, don’t try to change all of your mornings overnight.

Choose one small rhythm.

Practice it faithfully.

Then build from there.

Peace is rarely found in dramatic changes.

More often, it’s built through small, faithful habits repeated day after day.

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" our children.

And it certainly wasn’t because we thought we had all the answers.

We simply wanted more time.

More time to disciple our children.

More time to build strong family relationships.

More time to teach them not only what to think, but how to think.

Looking back now, with one son in trade school and the other preparing to enter eighth grade, I can honestly say that homeschooling gave our family far more than I ever expected.

We Gained Time Together

One of the biggest reasons we chose homeschooling was that we realized how little time we actually had together as a family.

Between school, homework, activities, and the busyness of everyday life, we felt like we were constantly rushing from one thing to the next.

We wanted our children to know Christ deeply, but discipleship doesn’t happen well in rushed moments squeezed in before bedtime.

It happens through everyday conversations.

✔️ Reading Scripture together.

✔️ Talking while folding laundry.

✔️ Long walks.

✔️ Car rides.

✔️ Working in the garden.

✔️ Sharing meals.

Those ordinary moments became some of the greatest gifts homeschooling gave us.

We Built Strong Relationships

People often warn parents that the teenage years are when children naturally pull away.

That hasn’t been our experience.

Our boys still talk to us.

They ask questions.

They share what they’re thinking.

They tell us about their struggles.

They invite us into their lives.

I’m deeply grateful for that.

I don’t believe homeschooling alone creates close families.

Healthy relationships require intentionality, no matter where children are educated.

But homeschooling gave us thousands of extra hours together to build trust, laugh together, work through conflict, and simply enjoy one another’s company.

Those hours mattered.

We Were Able to Disciple Our Children Naturally

One of the greatest blessings of homeschooling wasn’t that we taught Bible lessons every day.

It was that faith became part of everyday life.

When character issues surfaced, we talked about them.

When someone failed, we talked about grace.

When questions arose about the world around us, we searched for answers together through the lens of Scripture.

Faith wasn’t confined to Sunday mornings.

It became woven into the ordinary rhythm of our home.
<div here.

This is a place for Christian women who are tired of constantly feeling behind, overwhelmed, and stretched too thin.

Women who want to create peaceful homes.

Healthy rhythms.

Strong families.

Meaningful work.

And lives that reflect Christ—not perfection.

For many years I lived exhausted, burned out, and constantly chasing the next healthier rhythms, creating margin, caring well for the home and body God has given us, and learning to live with intention.

That’s what you’ll find here.

Every week I’ll share practical encouragement on things like:

• Creating peaceful home routines

• Organization and productivity

• Burnout recovery and healthy living

•
